About us

Unbiased.Fit documents bias and discrimination in Scandinavian workplaces through rigorously fact-checked research and personal stories from those who experience it.

We came to Scandinavia with decades of combined international experience.

The informal networks, “cultural fit” screening, and trust-based hiring we encountered here? We’d seen them before—as edge cases, occasional problems, things companies tried to fix in every other country.

Here, they’re business as usual.

The pattern recognition was simple: what Scandinavian markets treat as normal practice is what other markets recognize as bias and discrimination.

If this system continues, these countries will implode under their own demographic math and economic contradictions.
We have no interest in maintaining the current game.

Our approach

We bring an international lens to markets that rarely question their own assumptions. That means asking the hard questions Nordic politeness typically avoids:

  • Why do labour shortages coexist with systematic exclusion?

  • Why are anti-discrimination laws unenforced?

  • Why does “cultural fit” operate as ethnic screening?

  • Why do two-thirds of jobs never get advertised?

Every article is fact-checked against primary sources. Every claim is documented.

We combine statistical evidence with lived experience because both are necessary to challenge myths that data alone won’t shift.

What we’re building

This publication aims to change the system, not just describe it.

We document discrimination at scale to make it impossible to dismiss as anecdote.

We challenge the Nordic exceptionalism narrative with evidence.

We propose structural reforms that would actually work.

We have a vested interest in this outcome. You should know that.

Get involved

If you’ve experienced bias in Scandinavian hiring—as a candidate, as an insider who’s witnessed it, as someone caught in the paradox—share your story.

The silence around workplace discrimination ends when enough people document what’s actually happening.
